Dr. Steffie Woolhandler is a primary care physician, Distinguished Professor of Public Health at the City University of New York at Hunter College, and Lecturer in Medicine at Harvard Medical School, where she formerly served as a Professor of Medicine. She co-chaired The Lancet Commission on Public Policy and Health in the Trump Era.
Dr. Woolhandler explains how the Trump regime and its policies on science, health, the environment, labor, racism, and society as a whole actually shortened the life spans of the American people.
She also highlights how the Trump regime’s response to the coronavirus pandemic led to the unnecessary deaths of many hundreds of thousands of people in America.
And Dr. Woolhandler shares her insights on the so-called “deaths of despair” which supposedly are afflicting the so-called “white working class” and the white poor in Appalachia and other economically depressed parts of The United States.
